So, it's just the right rear?

What are align specs before and after. Should show significant difference if your concern was an alignment issue.

Zero evidence remotely indicating GM liability using any reasonable common sense. As it clearly looks like you roasted your own tires, your warranty claim was denied.

Buy new tires, get an alignment and call it a learning experience. Attempting to pursue this further is a waste of time.

For tires to be worn down like that, it would seem that the tires would be making some noises. Especially, if you went around a ramp. Seems like this would have been addressed before the cord was showing.

I don't believe any of this. OP what aftermarket exhaust do you have? If you can answer that then you can answer the question. How did you not notice the rear tires wearing abnormally about 4000 miles ago?

Alignment should be covered under warranty if it was NOT knocked out due to negligence. Such as you hitting a curb.

As for the tires, suck it up cupcake. You should have noticed that thousands of miles ago. The tires are on you bud.

I'll give you another example. If someone has a slow oil leak that takes months and months to get down to a dangerous level. If the engine locks up due to low oil, guess who pays for the new engine in that case?

You should have noticed the problem with the tires BEFORE they needed replacing and you wouldn't be out the cost of new ones.

Seems like a tire inflation issue, with smoking the piss out of the tires. (Problem with driver!!)

I'm no tire expert but have never seen an alignment issue cause the tires to wear out in the middle like that. The dealer is full of it! From the pics, looks like the result of burnouts.

Maybe a relative is sneaking the car keys in the middle of the night and taking the car out for a joy-ride and lighting up the tires? After getting new tires maybe try hiding the car keys?

Looking at the first picture from back of the car shows both back tires are nearly bald. The other close-ups of the one side shows chords shredded and huge bubble - must be making a wild bouncing ride from the back tires.

The second picture shows what looks like a small crack in the back bumper cover where it connects to the quarter-panel/fender (at the point of the triangle adjacent to the tire). Looks like some debris in the seam/joint of the two parts?

Once a week I look at the tread on all 4 tires ... if my tires looked only 10% as bad as the set in this thread I'd be hiding the car keys real good to see if that solved the problem; if that did not stop it ... next would be alignment check, ha ha.

I have a 2015 Camaro V6 1LT Convertible with 3,500 miles on the tires and no tire wear problems or alignment problems.

It is the driver at fault, is the problem. Or somebody switched tires.

Put another set of tires on and keep close tabs on them. Go ahead and have a proper alignment done first. Much cheaper than buying new tires every 5,000 miles.

Again ..i agree with you...and a few others....when your alignment is out tires dont wear perfect and evenly down to this point. They will wear one side or the other.....these are evenly worn. Very odd.
