That's up to you. I have said what is needed to be said, and I stand by it. Take note of my threads. Take note of what I said earlier in this thread. Its not made up, and its not a lie. Its exactly what happen.

As I have said before, I did not start either of these threads. I just reply in it, and stated my opinion. You had people who were interested, then you got the blinders in it and it went to hell.

So do what you must. I am sure many would be glad to see me go. Either way, I stand by what I said and I am not going switch up anything. I do my best to post FACTS. Not made up hearsay. If I am wrong I man up. I do this on every board where it be a video game board or car one.

I understand YOUR particular position and as a mod you have the power. It still does not change the fact that SOME people on this board go out of their way to derail threads, and as Crowley said, can be true in many cases.

My seats have dual stitching, My car comes with Nav. My car has 8 way power seat, my car has a track pack, my car is hotter,... my car is on a waiting list.. My car this... my car that....

Bottom line-- Car sites vary in style, format, and theme. But ultimately they are all the same. It is a place to compare, brag, share info about cars. it is inevitable to have differences. But why must the differences be hashed out EVERY other thread.

For the record I don't own either car... I'm an equal opportunity offender here.

Look - I think most of this comes down to delivery. Facts are facts (even though they aren't when you have magazines reviewing cars that have no business in doing so because they don't know how to drive) but it comes down to they way they come across. I don't quite understand the comments about our community being immature though... I think the good posts/threads way out-weigh the bad

I registered to post just this one time. I have been coming to this site to learn about the new Camaro, because I like it. I have a GT500 and I like it too. When they first came out we had a lot of hate from 03-04 Cobra owners on GT500 sites. It really pissed me off, and I began to think of them as dicks. I just wanted them to be happy with their cars and let me be happy with mine.
Now that the GT500 has been around for awhile, I've not seen a signal post from them on the sites that I visit. After awhile the same will happen with your Camaro site. I hope it happens sooner than later, because when I meet up with the first new Camaro owner that I see, I don't want them to think of me as a dick because of something they read on the internet.
I am not calling anyone here a dick, I just wanted pass on my experience.

My son has a buddy at school with a 2001 or 2002 Mustang GT conv. (W/A plate that states SUPERGT) and he keeps telling him his stock POC will smoke my son's 1999 Z-28 (which I did a couple of "minor" things to). I told Ryan to tell him to bring it to the track and he could have his pick of:

'67 Camaro
'99 Camaro Z-28
'10 SS/RS Camaro (ha) or
'04 2500 DuraMax (ha, ha - I modded it too!)

His best bet would be the '67 with the ZZ4!

But lo if you post something on the dreaded Camaro5 board......

The mods of this site need to take notice. If you guys want this to be Camaro's 24/7 and never mention ANY other brand ever as most of your members seem to want, then how about just shutting down the VS. thread.

Change the name....call it
1. Camaro VS other Camaro's Or
2. Camaro VS. Cars that are like Camaro's Or
3. Camaro VS Made up facts about other cars because if the owners of those cars talk about facts and truth, we do not want to hear about it.

Then you would not have to worry about any other brands ever posting again.

And on the LAST NOTE I did not ever disclaim one Mag. I said that a Stock GT500 will run faster than they(M/T) did, and it depends on the driver. See, unlike most of you with the blinders on, I remember exactly what I post about. I do not sit here and try to make up or omit certain facts to try to make myself look right.

See what you think is that we don't know about the GT500. I know everything about it thats why I DON'T need you or ANYONE else here to bring it up everytime there is news about it. If I want everyday up to date news on that car I will go to that website. No blinders here I know what the car can do and I respect it. I also know the truth of the matter is that its a car thats not going to appeal or sale to the masses, so why do we constantly need to tout what it can do.

You see its simple for me, if others don't know what the Camaro or GT500 or any car for that matter can and can't do, I don't feel the need to go around and try to inform other car forums or anybody who doesn't go out and research on their own. SO once AGAIN why do you feel you need to be the Ford spokesman for Mustangs?
