I lost one of my key fobs and ordered a new one online.
It has a Uncut Key. I don't need the key just the Fob. My keys are not used on my fob as I got the car after the fix. So can anyone help me please on how to Program my New Key Fob???? |

I tired to do this during the recall with no luck. My dealer ordered keys and I ordered a fob with an uncut key to use as a spare (fixed) key so I could continue using my switchblades. They tried to program the fob using the new key in the ignition. Fob won't program because there is already a programmed key in the switch. This was on my 2013. At that point they just gave me the new keys and sent me on my way. With the fix now in place I would think they would have this resolved for your situation. Did you try going by the dealer and have them do it? Owner's manual for your '15 still has switchblade instructions or did they re-write for new setup?

This is from the online manual. There may be another way.
In case that picture doesn't work, here's a link to the online PDF. Page 2-4 is what you're needing. https://www.chevrolet.com/content/da...ers-manual.pdf Last edited by Dragonman; 12-04-2015 at 02:46 PM. Reason: insert picture link |
