I agree. Almost like you could do 70mm for the big one and 60mm for the small one. Or just do 60mm for both knowing that you would have to glue it down for the larger holder so it won't move around. I dunno just my thoughts.

Update for the diode dynamics cup holder lights:

I called them and asked about the estimated restock time for red/blue and it is TBD. The employee said they are looking for a new acrylic supplier before having more made. Since we all know that means they may or may not come back in stock, I took the plunge and bought the RGB version which is still available.

PS: I did ask why they were switching suppliers (faulty product etc) and he said the product was fine but that supplier is no longer available to them

That's good and bad. I can not put $50 down for the RGB so I guess I will continue the hunt. There are many options out there. I just got to find one that works for my budget.

Hey Klswanky,

I agree, they may find another supplier and the price could drop or you could find a better option.

Good luck with your searching!

I think I am moving closer to this for a solution..

http://www.oznium.com/prewired-surface-mount-led

Seems easier and pretty good price wise. Very good reviews as well.

This way I can put one in each cup holder, one in the glove box and maybe look at putting one in each speaker grill.
