It's a 2014 1LE with 15,100 miles
First noise is probably the friction disc/pressure plate bouncing off each other momentarily after a sudden hard acceleration (ie. launching the car). The second noise with the car in neutral and the clutch engaged is just the sound of gears in the transmission free spinning. (raptor5244's muscle car charm). Neither sound is associated with throw-out bearing issues.

I can see how this noise can be disconcerting if you are coming from a Honda Civic or something where the clutch and transmission only have to deal with 140 lb. ft. of torque and are quiet as a mouse. However, these Tremec manual transmissions and clutches are designed to handle gobs of torque so you lose some of the refinement you get from your typical family sedan. You will see the same comments regarding noise on lots of high performance cars with these transmissions. Dodge uses them in the Challengers, Ford on the higher end Mustangs Shelbys, Corvettes, Camaros, etc. You tend to get used to it but I do agree that after 20 years that they could have refined them a little more. I have the NPP exhaust on my 1LE and it pretty much drowns out all other noise. :-)

Yeah I'm not at all impressed nor do I even like this clutch. I love the rest of the car but seriously, $40k and they throw a junk clutch in this car? I really does sound like something is broken.

I'm pretty sure a bad throw out bearing will rattle only when the clutch is pushed IN.
Not the other way around.

Not sure about the rattle, but in my experience, a bad throwout bearing will squeal loudly with clutch engaged (clutch pedal up) and go away when pedal is slightly depressed.
well figured out what was my issue. throwout bearing fell apart. my noise happened when the clutch pedal was up and clutch engaged. it was a loud squealing noise and would go away as soon as i pressed the clutch in a little. the noise would come and go and for awhile there, i thought it went away for good, but i had already placed an order for a monster clutch and scheduled the work. so today it was there at SNL performance and the clutch, flywheel, slave, pilot and throwout bearing replaced.
