Introducing myself..

Just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. As never owning a camaro before or even a V8 Sports car for that matter I can assure you that this is undoubtedly the very best experience of my life.

Ive had her for just over three weeks now and every day, every time, every moment I take her out someone stops and admires....

Key Statements / Comments that stand out:

1.) I've walked around your car 8 times now and still have yet to find a bad angle. Chev did it right... if only my the other big 3 could have figured it out.

2.) What year is that car?

3.) I saw a 2009 last year but it looked nothing like that...

4.) (All the f**ken time)
-- What's this car worth out the door taxes in.

5.) If I leave my boyfriend right now, will you take me for a ride in it? - Toronto, nighttime - club district.

6.) Your car is impeding the flow of pedestrian traffic (at two car shows)
(people kept stopping and just standing around it)

7.) Everytime I stop at the gas station
- That is the nicest car I have ever seen
- What kind of car is that
- Is that the new camaro? (Yes) You've got to be shitting me oh my god!

8.) Does it come in a four door.

9.) How come you didn't get the convertible?

10.) What kinda car is that?
- The New Camaro
Holy hell I thought it was an exotic from behind!

11.) Son want to see a muscle car? Look beside me!
(tonight at the sunoco gas pump)

12.) Is that the RS or the SS?
Umm, both?

13.) Do NOT paint the gfx, it completes the car, on a black car it makes it look even more mean and aggressive

Sidenote: SQUALO, it was a pleasure meeting you in person and I cant get over how many times people said "Are these your guys car?" and then they got all :O!

Since these pictures have been taken I have tinted her 20% all around and have ordered the Hen. CAI, and the SLP Loudmouth 1. I expect them to arrive within the week and be installed before she goes to sleep for the winter.


To all of you who are enjoying this car I salute you and respect you for such a fine choice in vehicles. To those of you who are waiting for it to arrive or are thinking about ordering it I assure you (as a person who only drove SUV's and Trucks) that this car, without a doubt will make the driving experience the best experience of your life.

There isn't a day I go by where someone doesnt stop me, or wave or point me out. The last time something got this much attention was well..... I'm really not sure.

Expect more pictures to come, but in the mean time

Official welcome Joe, and it was nice to see another GEN5 with me to share the spotlight. You have an awesome looking car, and DON'T paint the GFX, it looks great as is.

You nailed it, with all the statements & stupid questions people ask. I guess no one ever asked you "IS THAT A CHALLENGER?" . I guess I get that all the time because of the IOM.
We seem to have to come up with a PUBLIC EDUCATION PROGRAM so people stop asking "IS THAT AN RS OR SS?" We need to start mentioning the 'LT' term more, in order to get people educated on the differnce of trim levels.

I'm in the same er.... boat as you. I have a Black SS with GFX and i don't know if i want to paint them. i've seen em painted on camaro 5 but your right there is something about them that makes our car look unique.
