Lets face it, the vast majority of people buying new Camaro's have never even been to a track let alone go on a regular basis. Street racing is illegal and you cant even post about it here. Speed limits in most the US are 35-50 mph....so why do you need a 300 or 400+HP car to drive the speed limit in 2nd gear?

Quite simple. Want to know why people are buying one. For the track? To show off? or just because they have always wanted one.

I will be buying it for all 3 reasons you stated. I have been waiting ever since they quit making them. I cant wait to run the heck out of it around the track and of course its hooooot so I gotta show it off!

I bought one to have a cool looking car and race people when I feel like it. Oh, and if you just want a vehicle to get from point A to point B, you really dont need a 300HP or a Corvette engine to do it. My question is what makes people want to buy them?
