1.7 short times, yeah it's bone stock. See ya in the McDonalds drive thru.

Car does pull a good trap speed though.

He's got pretty good documentation around his runs, but believe what you want.

If and when the need ever arises to shut them up for good and make them feel bad about their cars, I'll just get the Fabberge twin turbo kit. Until then, I'll just enjoy my powerful, high tech, state of the art V6 with DI, VVT, 4v per cylinder while getting up to 32.5 mpg on the highway and up to 20+ mpg in the city.

Anyway, I think some of these V8 1LE owners should be thinking about how they measure up to the new 6th gen SS instead of how much "better" they are over us V6er's. The regular, bone stock, run of the mill, 6th gen SS out performs their special 1LE's in all aspects. Imagine what the 6th gen 1LE is going to do.

So, instead of thinking about how they can make us feel bad about our purchases with these cleverly disguised posts like the OP started, they should be thinking about how the 6th gen is going to make them feel bad about their cars. And with some reports coming out of the 6th gen SS dipping down into the 11's bone stock, the 6th gen is going to make them feel really bad about their cars.
You're one of the instigators I was referring to in my previous posts.

Except "he" is just one person which doesn't make an industry standard, no 11 second pass was made with stock tires as someone in this thread said "bone stock 2016s are running 11s" which insinuates he thinks he will run 11s if he buys one.

Won't happen. That IS an impressive time but anyone who thinks it was easy as buying a car and running 11s is the one that will be disappointed.

I am realistic.

Who cares what anyone thinks about anything you own?
I bought mine to commute in and keep miles off cars that mean more to me and it's a fun commuter. Do I wish I had a V8? Nope. It does exactly what I want just as it is.
Anybody who makes a big deal out of theirs being "better" in their opinion is probably a very insecure douche who has to try to "one up" someone else because of self esteem issues.
If I ever second guess my choice of Camaro and think for a second that it is somehow inferior, I'll just look down at my enormous penis and be reassured that all is well.

I just got back from getting an inspection and I had two guys in the waiting room and the inspector tell me what an awesome car I have. Who am I to argue?

I still dont understand why anyone would consider a V8 as a DD.. been there done that and regretted that decision; thats why I have a V6 now.
Oh crap. I have a friend that his only car is his 2012 2SS. I'd better call him and let him know that someone on the internet said he can't DD his car.
He's been doing it for like.. 3 years now. it is too late?

All the usual suspects apply to both engines equally.. Just need to decide what you want out of it.
I kind of lean towards the best bang for the buck but still retain my DD capability. Same approach to my Jeep.. Mod it, but keep it usable.
Cosmetics?? The sky's the limit..
CAI,
Catch Cat (O dear god did I say the word Catch can? Someone on the Camaro5 forum is going to be upset with me)
Ported throttle body,
Exhaust... it's a bit of a rabbit hole, but a fun one.
Then things get serious..
Suspension, headers, HF cats..
Supercharge, Twin Turbos, Nitrous, fully submersible attack submarine mod,
JATO rocket pods....

Time and money my friend.... It's all time and money.
You didn't buy a car, you bought a lego set.

I don't think anyone (outside of the interwebs) has ever even asked if mine is a v8 although I have only had it a couple months but I get a lot of compliments and I still go out and look at it sitting in the garage on a regular basis on days when I work from home and don't get to drive into the office .... yes I did say GET to drive into the office not something I would have said about my last few cars

One word keeps coming up "CAMARO". That right there you own a piece of history and with your situation, a good cause.
