Trading 2SS
I was looking to trade my 2SS up for a ZL1 or another 2SS that's manual with RS.
I currently have a `15 2SS coupe with basically the automatic transmission. No nav/RS/etc. How much is a reasonable amount that you think I should consider on trade if I was looking to trade for a 14 or 15 2SS that's RS/manual? I'm sure there are people here who have traded manual for auto or auto for manual in the past. I am upside down on my loan which is expected (I have gap) but obviously regardless of how upside down I am the cost of the new car is their price - my trade. I was actually looking to lower my payment slightly by paying the different and putting a little more down at the same time but a couple of the dealers I've spoken to want far too much to trade a 15 2SS for a 14 or 15 2SS(talking like 6K difference in trade + asking which isn't worth it obviously)

To get an idea of your trade-in value, check edmunds.com. truecar.com. Kelly Blue book, and NADA. They'll tell you what your trade-in value is, depending on condition and mileage. The numbers will vary by at least a few hundred dollars, so average it out for a decent idea. I'd print all those up and bring them in case the dealer tries to low-ball you (which is almost guaranteed).

Depends... Used to used shouldnt be a problem at all... You might be able to still jump on the 20% incentive. I did last year and got a loaded 2SS (no 1LE) for 33 OTD... Now its worth probably 27. Since youre jumping up with options, I would imagine 6k is right. I know the RS package is slightly cheaper for the 2SS, but nav and a sunroof would too would bring in like 2-2.5k in options. And then theres the 1LE package. So it all depends.

edmunds trade on my car is 28, nada is 28 there as well. Kind of sucks, but nothing I can do about it but keep the car if I can't find a suitable trade.
If I could find 20% off a brand new one & get 28 for my car i'd be able to do it because a 2SS with RS + 1LE stickers for 43150, usaa is 38,900 & 20% would be 34520. 20% off just a 2SS/RS would be, sticker 39650 usaa is 35,700 and 20% is 31720. That makes sense to me if I could manage to line a deal up like that I would not hesitate if I could find either option for 20% off and swing that for my trade. But a dealer wanting 6K difference to go 2015 used to 2014 used with just 2SS/RS is
