Sounds like you need a handling car.

Go to a subie dealer, see if you can get an 09 STi on a trade in. Tell the dealer they can sell your car for 30k+ and the 2010 STi's are out in the new few weeks so they are practically giving away the 2009's

I agree, but at least post something with some kind of point behind it. Hey I'm a diehard right here, but I won't go into a thread and put something like "I don't care who you are and what your post says." Why take the time to go into a thread and post then? I like brutal honesty though, makes things more intersting

I've had my 6 banger for 4 months now and I'm very satisfied with the performance. I can understand that if you want more power, trade for the SS.

You should be able to find one for under $43k though.

I agree with those that posted about the V6. Nothing was hidden or misleading from you. Sounds like you want more performance and as such you should've looked at the SS.

However, sounds like you just aren't satified with the Camaro. Thats OK....it's not for everyone.

Sell it while you can get the most money for it and go pick up a C5 or C6 Z06. That should take care of you.

I'm curious what happened to loyalty? I can see if your a new driver, don't like what you bought, and want to change. But If I have a Ford and switch to a Chevy I would think myself a traitor. I buy GM every car/truck I can and have loved all of them. Had 2 Trans-ams, 2 Camaros, 2 Chevy trucks, all were great! Can't wait for the 2010 to make it home! I personally don't know why someone would expect a Camaro to be like a mustang anyway. You either want a Quality car, or a Ford!

I guess I just don't see the logic behind spending that kind of $ without doing more home work then feel that it fell short. (To each his own) The info was out there and I really don't care that the Camaro doesn't do this or that. The car is not for everyone so do the research first, ask question, test drive, etc. JMO

I understand what you're saying and I'm sorry that your test drive didn't give you the right information, but I knew exactly how the car was going to feel while driving after driving the V6 for about 15 minutes. This was back in April and, now that I have my SS, it turns out I had no misconceptions based on the test drive.

Sorry you're having to deal with this decision.
