If you set the DIC to mph on my car, the digital speedo changes to mph. The needle also changes. The numbers don't change on the needle speedo. But if i accelerate the needle will move slower than if it was set to km/h. It is hard to explain. Not sure why it tops at 240 km/h...when it is supposed to be speed limited to 155 mph (249 km/h) Looks like there is a little room past 240 km/h to push it to the limit
