For a month or so I was looking for the ABL color matching bulbs to put in my door handles because I was tired of girls grabbing around my door handle not being able to find it. So I finally got these take offs from Spadz93! They're perfect! SO glad I did door handle LED color matching.

Buy 2 mounting caps, drill a small hold behind the door handle, even if you mess up it's behind the corner of the door handle so you won't see it, and stick the LED in there, this cap will spread the light out so it's not a strong beam. and then order the ABL lights from Gm's website for 15 bucks a harness.

Fairly easy, buy the caps and the leds + harness, if you're doing your own soldering don't forget you need a resistor because 12v will fry the 3-5v 5mm leds, Tap group and power on the harness to have the 2nd harness feed off that. Then take off panel and drill a small hole in the corner of the door handle.

Could I just order a 5mm led from any where and tap into the panel ABL harness????

I believe a 1/4W resistor will do the trick

Welcome to the party, was done over 6 years ago, and if you buy the GM ABL light it comes with the resister on it.

Do some sanding no the door panel so the ABL light goes all the way down.
