Yes 100%, but your going to get a more of one side then the other when your in a CAMARO forum after buying and say the car is not your cup of tea that's all. I don't believe any of this was personal just another persons opinion, negative or not. I knew what I bought when I did. The Camaro is not perfect, but is super sexy and big bang for the $ V6 or V8. Sorry the handling fell a little short, but I didn't buy to race the road course. So the handling is enough for street driving, (because racing on public street is pure stupidity). If he bought it to race then buy the shell and build it from the ground up an have a true race car to take to the track and race it. The car is heavy and handles like such, buy a underpowered car that weights less, then they seem to say it not very fast. Please get educated before you buy that's all.

This is the first I have heard "big and cumbersome" I love my camaro, it handles almost as good as the C5 I sold to buy it.

I also smell something fishy here. Maybe a Mustang blogger.

I honestly think you didn't have time to break it in. Have you read the threads on that here? Comments here state the Camaro is supposed to "wake up" after an oil change, and at about 1500-2000 miles as the computer "learns." Don't let it slip away too quickly. Give it a chance.

I think all opinions should be welcome on a forum such as this. However, for those of you that can't understand the flames; do you walk into a Starbucks and complain they don't have steak? Really, what do expect the reaction to be? Anyhoota, this car won't suit everyone but it does sound like some buyers remorse. Ive owned everything from Porsche to Saab to BMW to Volvo to just about evey domestic you can think of.... thus my sig IMHO (of course there's and opinion ) it's the best automobile (it's not a car, there's a difference) produced by a domestic manufacture since 1967. Oh yeah, that was a Camaro too.

Well to try and sum up most ASSumptions about me, I am not loyal to any one brand. I dont really care to be a fanboy like that either. I have owned a 300C, two BMWs (540 and 328) an Evo VIII and a Mustang GT. I enjoy performance cars of all types. So yes, buying a 3800+lb car with a V6 probably wasnt the best idea and I should have driven it alot more before taking it. Going to drive the SS tomorrow but have some other cars in mind in case that doesnt work for me either. Thanks

If you want a "tossable" car then the Camaro is not gonna do it. Both cars are heavy. Maybe an SS will be better for you ,but I doubt it. Buy a Vette

I feel the exact same way when I see a V6 Camaro... I had one as a rental and it is night and day different from the 2SS/RS 430HP 6-Speed!!!

Not even compareable!... I promise you get a 2SS/RS you will be happy!

have you ever driven a vette?

Tossable isnt the word. the vette was built to be planted.

I am not trying to bash you here, i am just curious. With that kind of automotive past, what made you want the v-6 over the v-8?
