Uh... LS7. It's not a flat plane but it works. LS7 still works.

I bought my car knowing it didnt have A/C, my wife questioned my sanity, but for me it is as pure of a sports car (that I like/can afford), while drawing on the muscle car heritage so many say they like but would never own. The ride is harsh, its noisy/cluncky, the exhaust is loud, sucks to park, have to know your route before going anywhere, tough to get in and out of, but you know what, I love all of that, thats what gives this car character, it puts aside all of the nit noid bitch ninny stuff and is in your face performance with the 427, CCBs, Trofeos, aero and doesnt ask for your forgivness. I will be keeping this car for the rest of my adult life. |

LS7 is no longer in production other than crate engines. They don't have an LTx version.

What is sad is the GT350R will probably win any matchup because of the suberp Voodoo engine. Even with the 650hp version, it will probably blow up on the track like the Z06 did in the best drivers car matchup. Badass though.

There's something that this car has...
![]() and this car has... ![]() and this car has... ![]() ...that the rendering of the "new" Z/28 lacks. Personally, I think's it a badass look that only and factory built, purpose built track car can achieve. Which is why that rendering looks more like a ZL1. The Gen 5 ZL1 looks way better than that yellow thing. That's just ugly.

I think the Gen 5 is hands down a better lookin car... I might be biased but I think our gen 5's are the epitome of American muscle. The GEN six at first glance could be a Mustang or a bunch of other stamped out cars. There are some things I like about the looks of the Gen 6, but overall I like our big, in your face, AMERICAN MUSCLE!!!

Agreed. I had to stop by my dealership the other day and had a chance to finally see one (white SS) in person. Not impressed at all..very bland aesthetically. Couldn't put my finger on it exactly, but it just doesn't have the "it" factor. |

Looks more like a Gen 6 ZL1 rendering, which follows the pattern of the front fascia/splitter look.

I think GM tried to integrate C7 elements to it, which is a good idea at 1st, but it turned out far as good as the C7. Should have stayed closer to the 5th gen with less C7 into it. The 'ZL1' and 1LE package will be a big step up from the SS I think though. I look at the Z28/1LE/ZL1 and they look a lot better than the stock SS.
