procharger d1sc or ecs kit
Hey guys, fairly new around here, i been quietly reading the forced induction threads for a while now and i've narrowed it down to two options as stated above. I really like the procharger but i like the price of the ecs kit and the fact that its a COMPLETE kit where as the procharger complete kit would be considerably more. The only thing that i dont like about the ecs honestly is the intercooler, i know its like that for a reason but i just aesthetically dont like it, somebody point me in the right direction please

ECS kit.
For the money saved you could do your own customer intercooler if you wanted, even though their FMIC works great.

Ecs. But i would get the tuner kit and buy your own larger injectors and fuel pump. Also have seen the procharger steel intake tube rust from meth, not sure if they have changed that to aluminum now. Could also paint intercooler black and youd never see it.

ECS all the way. Upgraded to 850 injectors and ADM twin pump. Also have ALky control kit. Its fun to drive. Drives like stock until you put your foot into it.

if i did go procharger i was going to purchase the tuner kit and add adm fpcm and fuel pump and fast 850 or i.d. injectors myself, i thought everybody that has the ecs kit usually stuck with the ecs supplied injectors and fuel management, was i wrong in assuming that?

ECS injectors are good for ~650-700. Just depends on what you want to make.
Could do an huge AGP fmic easy enough on the ECS kit. Procharger guys swap to them all the time and have seen 100+rwhp gains.

As a person who also debated this very question, I can say that you probably can't go wrong with whatever you choose. Both systems will do a great job and each one has little edge over the other. That being said, I went to Procharger in the end because I was attracted to the i1 (similar performance to the d1sc except it has variable ratios that make it more flexible), however that was quite a big jump in price.
