Its an axle back. At the time I left my stock L99 resonator in place. I then went solo hi flows for a year...car sounded nice. Then added jba shotry headers and magnaflow tru x pipe. I am considering the resonated x pipe now because imo it's just a hair to high pitched. Just the muffler delete was alot better then stock.....sometimes I wonder what people are smoking.

Pluto you really need to search camaro 5 to find the large amount of posts from owners that have done the muffler delete. There are a ton of people that will tell you ...and have posted how much they were satisfied with it.

magnaflow #11386 is the part number for there 2.5" X pipe muffler that takes the place of the factory H pipe on both ls3 and L99 cars
Wouldn't a true x-pipe be better/louder/meaner? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/mpe-10791/overview/

I'm not really concerned about the neighbours. .their dog barking at 5am has made me bitter haha. Hey I just looked at your link..that's the x pipe I have on it now....dont you mean the resonated x pipe

Actually I probably read every single post on this great forum regarding muffler deletes. The delete itself sounds great except for cruzing. The tone is flat. I appreciate your imput and think I'm going with flowmaster 819106, what do you guys know about this axle back? Is there any drone?

No...stock was the huge l99 resonator that's almost 3 ft long. That's what I had installed to replace the big stock one.

+1

I went from Muffler delete to the Retro Chambered Exhaust and could not be happier. I always liked Borla (had them on my vettes) but the 5th gen Camaro system though loud, was too raspy at high rpms. The Retro Chambered Exhaust has a nice deep sound, I can't recommend this system enough.

Add long tubes to this exhaust and it's a whole new beast!

Don't lead people down the muffler delete road, it isnt a quality solution. If you can't afford anything else I understand that. If you have the means invest in a tuned exhaust system

Funny thing is I posted a thread and told people to rate between 2 exhausts on the same Camaro but I didn't tell them what they are. The muffler delete won 90% of votes over the 3 inch catback.

Thats interesting. I don't doubt you knowledge of these vehicles. Im sure you know alot. My personal opinion is that muffler delete alone on a l99 sounds like trash during a large part of the rpms. I appreciate your opinion. Thats what make this forum the best on the web!!!
