Well to be fair, it probably was $50. Then they added this and that, and she just ignored it, and remembered the $50 price. My wife does this stuff. $99.99 is $90 to her. Lol

My old go to was "I had it in the garage" but she figured that out after 5 years. So now she gets shoes or a purse so I add to my gun or mod list. It has worked out so far.

Isn't your Camaro your wife/girlfriend too? Shouldn't she have a say in what you spend your money on? So then it would by 50% what your Camaro says and 50% what your wife/girlfriend says.......and YOU are the tie breaker.
