Torco for a mostly stock car?

Is it ok to use a can every tankful on a zl1 with just a rotofab intake and big gulp? I think it's good protection against gas stations that play games with octane grades. Thoughts???

My car is stock other than a rotofab cai and I do not run any torco. If I was going to take it to the track I probably would add some. I run what is available here and it is 91 octane, thats all we have. The torco is to expensive I think to run all of the time with a car that has not been modified. But it would not hurt I guess if you want to spend the extra cash to run it.

It's a weekend car so the money isn't a concern. I often worry if the octane we pay for a s the octane were getting. I'd use the Torco as insurance.

I have used it here in California in the summer, when the fuel tends to make the car want to "ping" on hard acceleration. It works for me. We have terrible fuel here in California, at least in southern California!

Just say "No". Use Shell, Texaco or Chevron premium fuel.

We've seen it cause build up in some cases but more importantly, with GOOD fuel, it's just not needed. Our Camaro that makes 1200 HP runs on 91 Octane Pump gas with zero issues....

Just our .02

But for a stock engine I believe the car likes 93 octane better, which is unavailable in some states like mine.

And your engine at 1200hp was tuned, something I don't want to do now.

So, if you don't have "good" fuel, do you recommending adding a bottle here and there? Like every other tank?

This video is about the Boostane product, competitor of Torco. I'm
curious to try it just once to see if I notice a difference in power. Question is would it be safe test it out once? I also use 93 oct only.
