Trading 15 for a 16

I bought a 2015 1LT RS and want to know how much I would lose on trading in for a 2016 1LT RS? I like the interior on the 2016's, but don't know about their new exterior.

At least 25 % of what you paid. Talk to a dealer. Not really worth it unless you have to get a 6th gen. Id wait a few years then trade.

not knowing all the specs on your current car you should expect to get 20-22k trade on a good day and if the dealer wants to sell the new. more than likely they will offer you 17-19k to try and lowball you.

Just bought a 15, and looked hard at the 16's when I bought. I liked the side panels on the 16 better than the 15, but liked the front and back ends of the 15 better on the exterior. The 16 interior is nicer, but not that much. Much better performance on the 16 V6. 0-60 almost 1 second quicker. I got the 15 about $3500 cheaper and got 0% finance which is really the main reason I went with the 15. Also, the 16 to me was much worse as far as vision from the drivers seat. They shrunk the roof line down I believe. When raising the seat to be able to see over the hood to the road, it seemed like my head was real close to the roof. I did get a set of 16 LT 18" wheels and tires with the deal for $700 for winter. Check them out on my Sig. Like them much better than the 15 18" wheels. Good luck on the decision.
