Thanks for all the suggestions. When I called Hennessy and lingenfelter, they told me that if the dealership wouldn't fix something because of their mods, they would pay the dealership directly for the repairs. Am I missing something? That sounds essentially the same as factory warranty.

this would be the case of "workmanship" which would not cover, say, if you put a supercharger on and it broke a piston. What it would cover is if they put a supercharger on, didn't properly torque the balancer, and the bolt backed out causing it to need a new bolt. They, or any shop with a similar workmanship warranty, would either repair it themselves, or pay another shop to put a new bolt on.

For the engine, transmission, or differential to be repaired, it must specifically feature a powertrain warranty.
