I read this:

"stabiltrack system where it gets confused operating for extended periods on slippery terrain"

I was on an icy road for 2 hours, but it came on after I was on icy conditions for about 30 minutes.

Reduced engine power can be from torque management also trying to keep you straight not just traction control. The lights you have on are the check engine light and tire light showing the tire is underinflated, or tires in the left gauge pod.

The low tire pressure warning light alerts to a significant loss in pressure of one of the vehicle's tires. If the warning light comes on, stop as soon as possible and inflate the tires to the recommended pressure shown on the Tire and Loading Information label.
See Vehicle Load Limits on page 9‑12. The warning light will remain on until the tire pressure is corrected. The low tire pressure warning light may come on in cool weather when the vehicle is first started, and then turn off as the vehicle is driven. This may be an early indicator that the tire pressures are getting low and the tires need to be inflated to the proper pressure.
The TPMS does not replace normal monthly tire maintenance. Maintain the correct tire pressures. See Tire Pressure Monitor System

when tires are very cold as we all know the air in them becomes more dense and as it heats it expands. That's the one on the left anyway...now the big three uglys on the right gauge pod triggered from anything literally you have the stabillitrac and TC showing its off, that and the CEL in combination on my car has meant a loose hose before, also breaking traction hard, engine trouble, O2 in a tune delayed response... and so you can see it will show the three all together well for about every dang thing .
You may have experienced a ECU brain fart or have a loose catch can hose.... which you might not even know what it is, you could have a sandwich is the brakes...... Those will show up for just about anything so you have to get the codes read and cleared to find out what was up to set them off....and having a low tire pressure also may have made it want to limp? Most likely its from stabillitrac having kicked in..?

SO get the code read and cleared and good luck out there I know the weather sucks...
And here is a copy of a manual. Hopefully its nothing....

Thanks so much, I appreciate your insight. My tires are always inflated properly until it gets cold...then they lose air. This particular tire that's showing up happened this morning. It was -2.

I'm going to make an appointment and try to get it in tomorrow. I just didn't want the dealership to try to pull something on me. I'm generally pretty savvy about my car, but never had this happen.

Thanks again!

Went back out now that the car has sat for about an hour. All the lights are off except for the engine light and of course the tire light (since I haven't had a change to air it up.)

Most likely throttle body.. there are 2 position sensors and when they don't agree this is pretty common to trigger this symptom.. It can be something else.. just common on this motor and others that use a similar setup. Only way to know for sure is to pull the codes and see what they say.

I have a vtc on its way right now. Is this a big problem or something that doesn't really matter?

I don't know personally because I don't have one but if you do a search of Camaro5 on VTC or Vitesse (titles only) and read through many of the threads you will see where numerous folks had issues with constant CELs and going into "reduced power limp mode". Many ended up having to uninstall it to resolve the problems. Many others never had the problems. So I guess you will have to see if it works for you.

I bought this Camaro used at 20K miles. It's been a perfect vehicle. I'm wondering if it has a VTC in it and I didn't/don't know. How would I know, what do I look for?

You'd see a controller somewhere by your dash area, a small black box with red digital readout. Highly doubt you have it. I know some people who have these, none complain about any issues though. However, personally, I'll pass on these types of devices.

Here's a pic. That's what it looks like. Highly doubt you'd miss this or never question what it was.

Need the code, everything else is just guessing, stop by an autozone or some place like that and have them run the code then post it here.

Yeah... I think after stabilitrack battled to keep you going straight for 30 minutes, the computer finally decided you did not need to be driving in that crap and just reduced your engine power to where you would have a hard time killing yourself or someone else.

I'm quite sure it was weather related. Have you started/driven the car since you limped it home?

Fear not! I (and dozens of others here) have had a VTC for a good while and have experienced no problems. When you install it just be sure to follow the calibration sequence exactly. That is critical to the VTC functioning properly. It's not difficult and comes with good instructions.
