Moreair1 is that the AGP catch can or a aftermarket one? I got the AGP kit but have not installed it yet. I am undecided on whether to go with the Mightymouse PCV can or the AGP can.

Either one works fine. Unless you just want to spend money, there is no need to buy anything else until you get into 1000+rwhp range.

And a perk with the boost controller is I can run 4.5 lbs boost under normal driving and then if I want to play I turn it up to 8lbs

The one Kevin uses in all the builds is cheap, easy and works great. I think it is a GFB unit.

And he should have said "street you can go around on 12psi and when you want to lay into it, you can turn it up to 16-18". 4.5psi to 8psi is weak sauce.

12 psi on a stock motor is pushing it isn't it?

8 psi is what they say to limit too on a stock motor, it is weak sauce if you have a motor like unreals

Who said 8psi? Maybe without fuel system upgrades, or meth/e85, but with octane 12-13psi is easily doable on stock motor and 800-900rwhp.

I can't find the email so I won't say the company just incase I was wrong, but they informed me that 8 psi is the safe spot and keep in mind I don't run meth/e85, but I do live at high altitude so I have also been told I could get away with a little more boost and still be safe since it would just put me at the power level with cars at sea level at 8 psi, but I do wish I had a motor like yours but that is far out of my reach, maybe some day

So I went with the AGP double pump setup with the green pumps to run E85 with their return fittings and 1000 cc injectors. So you are saying on a stock L99 motor I can safely run 12-13 PSI?

Thanks for the link Moreair1. Very helpful. I see AGP posted a video on youtube showing how to use that controller as well. Are there any advantages of the GFB 2 controller vs. the AEM Truboost?
