Straight Piping
Hey all,
Just wondering, whats everyones opinions on straight piping a 2013 v6? Also, can you guys give me any info id need if i wanted to straight pipe? (sizes, places to buy, etc) Thanks!!

Trade it in for a SS V8 and there will be no need to straight pipe.

First, you need to make sure that your state allows for straight-piping. I know that there are some states that don't. Are you planning on piping it after the cat? If not, then you have to worry about the O2 sensors.

I wouldn't bother as the v6 has a naturally raspy sound and straight piped it will sound that much more pronounced and less refined.
The stock v6 exhaust is 2.25" so if I were you I'd look into muffler deletes or even retrofitting NPP setup onto your car from another 14-15 v6 that had NPP.

Back when I had the v6, MRTV2 axle back was the answer. They are loud as hell.

I currently have the 1.0 on my car haha.. i agree it is loud, but i want louder lol

I did a muffler delete on my '14 V6 and it sounds about as good as you're going to get from a V6.
