I just got my vin #2G1FK1EJXA9143677 I called and got it from the sales manager. He said that the car is in transit but can not tell me any more then that? How do you guys tell how it is being transported?
I told him I was worried that I had heard some went to QC and he said that he thinks it is just the ones with the engine cover? I am not sure if thats true or not but that is what he said.

Thanks, Do you know how to track it once in transit or to find out how it is being transported? I have looked at a couple of diffrent threads but not sure if they are the right one?

congrats Crulgrl! I am supposed to get my vin from my dealer today sometime. Mine was supposidly in QC but I didn't get an engine cover so I'm not sure why?

Have your dealer call the dealer business center and get your rail car #. it should be a prefix of letters i.e GTTX and a car # (801057 is mine) then call 1800 235 2352 and tell the robot your info : )

I just called my dealer to tell him to leave off the dealer sticker, no front plates, etc.... and he said they are expecting it next thursday!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got my VIN# from the dealer today #43456. Just waiting to get her down here. Inventory manager told me 2-3 weeks in transit. Now it gets exciting!!! Congrat to everyone else who got their word the car is built and on the way.

Called my salesman and he said car is already in-transit should be here on 9/11.....kind of scarry, i was stationed in DC on 9/11, wonder if i should tribute the car to my fallen brothers??

I got a the dreaded call today dealer said that mine had been pushed back untill the 21st then 10 mins later called and said that he was looking at the wrong number mines built and on the way should be here late next week.

I called my salesman today and he gave me the VIN!! He said she has been shipped and should be here in no more than 2 weeks...hopefully less! Just got back from doing all the paperwork. Now when she arrives, I just have to get the OnStar instructions and roll!! Thanks to all my 8/31 brothers and sisters for keeping me sane through all this.
