Yep. Just roll down the windows and clean the inside of the car on occasion and there is no problem.

BTW - smokers have every right to make the personal decision to smoke, I as a non-smoker am very glad that public smoking has been made illegal almost everywhere and I am no longer victim to the second hand smoke.
As a smoker of 35 years, I do smoke in my car. I roll the window down some and exhale toward that window so most of the smoke goes out the window. The glass and interior do need cleaned good every couple months.
No offense intended at you personally talwell, but there are many of us smokers that feel we are victims of the green machine, tree hugging society. What if smoking were considered a disease. Would all the places we are banned from smoking now be considered discriminatory towards us? Don't we have rights too?

Imagine that, a bunch of non-smokers who don't smoke in their car. WOW, that's new, I guess you guys don't smoke at home either. Well, I am a smoker and I do smoke in my car. I agree with Randy, windows down, no smoke smell. For those those that do smoke have you noticed that the A-pillar behind the drivers seat collects some ashes. Not a big deal wipes right off, just thought it was kind of strange strange.

As an asside, I work for a large, well known Cleveland hospital - they banned smoking on all property (which is approx. a 1.5 square mile block of the east side of Cleveland) 3 years ago, and as of about a year ago would not hire anyone who smokes - yes, they now check for nicotine in the pre-hire drug screen process.

Yes, it will stink up a car but if you rill both windows down, you'll be ok. Now after years and years maybe but even then, I don't think so.
Fair enough. Seemslike you have some practice haha.

My curiosity is now satisfied! So many diff responses. I am a smoker and i smoke in my vehicle, but windows HAVE to be rolled down, blow smoke OUT the window, make sure the ash doesnt hit my back seats due to wind and the air vents MUST be closed. I vowed also to never smoke in my new car and I did such a great job... until it was a really bad winter and standing outside completely sucked. I also make sure I have a bottle of Abercrombie & Fitch Fierce cologne (or cooly cologne) nearby and strawberry febreeze. My biggest violation is lying to my gf and tell'n her I don't smoke :( I should really quit, that's the best method for me...

If she doesnt smoke there is no way she doesnt know bud.. My wife tries to hide it from me from time to time and I am a smoker.. She tastes like an ashtray... (when she smokes) so you're busted, she's just saving it for a good argument.
As for the topic.. Im a smoker and havent smoked yet in it. Dont plan on it. 1 month so far.

Don't smoke and wouldn't allow anyone to smoke in my car either. I don't even eat in my car. I haven't even driven w/ my windows down. Someone told me if I want my car to stay smelling like new, keep the windows up. And it's working so far and it's been 11 weeks today. And still smells like new

Nope she doesn't and yep i wont be surprised if it shows up in an argument LOL. However, I don't smoke menthols or any of the regular cigs anymore like camels or marlboro's. I do the djarum flavored ones... and they actually don't have the super bad smoke smell.

Oh hell who am i kidd'n she probably knows but will use it as her Ace in an argument LOL
