Nitrous or ported heads/cam
I was curious to know... it seems to me, nitrous is getting safter and Safter. With that said, I was about to order the works for my Camaro zl1... The blower plate system from nitrous outlet. Along with the pressure gauge, bottle heater, purge kit, lingenfilter timing retard, progressive controller, and a dedicated fuel cell. For around $3500. With that said. What do you guys think? Nitrous or ported heads and a cam.

Power goals? What do you use the car for? Current mods?
Hp per $$ the nitrous wins and will be an absolute monster on a big shot. If going the cam route I'd look into porting blower/snout better gains to be had over heads and less labor/hassle

If it was me Id want the cam because it's always there. The nitrous is nice when you need it but its the same as FI vs nitrous. Do you want quick burst or all the time fun? For me I decided to stay N/A and go nitrous. But If I was in Zl1 already supercharged Id take a cam all day.

Are you also getting it for the Viper ? Did you already get your 20K motor build done? Install all the subframe bolts you were missing ? Need to do all that before nitrous build.

I wish they would ban him already. Anyway. Going with the nitrous setup. I will post hp numbers when it's in and installed. Going with the blower plate kit from nitrous outlet. Is a window switch essential? I talked to nitrous outlet, and they told me I had everyth needed. Which was 3500. That was with everything I included in the original post. Sound right?
