Carjoying with Metra Kit and OEM Amp
Hi there
I installed my new Carjoying Android Radio. Works like a charm. I only have problems to get a nice sound quality with the OEM amp. Installed the Metra Kit with the white/black-white and grey/black-grey with the 4-pin to 4-pin resistor pad harness. The green/black-green and purple/black-purple cables are directly connected to the 44pin plug. Sound quality form the back speakers is good. Only the front speakers are very quiet without bass. All Cables have 5.8V What's wrong? Missed resistors? Wrong connected? Regards Matthias |

If i set the Equalizer to more front speakers, the sound quality is very bad. Only front speakers sounds like a 5$ bath radio....
Must be a wiring fault or pre-resistor fault... With the original radio everything is fine. Any other ideas? Edit: This is the stange part (from the metra kit manual). For non-amplified systems: Cut the resistors from the Green,Green/Black,Purple,Purple/Black wires right below the heat shrink. I have an amp, so i have to leave the resistors. BUT I don't have some resistors there. The cable goes directly from the radio to the 44pin plug... Last edited by ch_swat_89; 01-25-2016 at 09:15 AM. |
