Kevin at ChampionMotors is the best tuner in the GTA hands down. Myself and a buddy of mine have used several tuners in the GTA between the two of us, some the same some not and we've had nothing but problems with drivability and other major issues. Kevin fixed my issues after 4hrs of working on my vehicle and my friend used a guy in the US named Joe (leftcoast32) who fixed his issues. All I can say is do your homework and pick a good tuner or you will make the mistake I did and spend 2k+ on tuning.

I would personally use Matt (LT1Z) from GPTUNING. He is one of the best cam and tuning specialists in the US. You can email him at gpxtuning@gmail.com or call him at 650-302-1574, I just bought a CTS V and that's who I'll be using to do my cam.

Hi Dave , Email tunes are never going to anything closed to having it done live .

My tuner Dave is by far one of the best tuners around and has proven himself time and time again .

Have peace of mind and have your car done by a true professional that actually cares about the car and not your money .

I respectfully disagree, if someone has hptuners pro and can datalog a good tuner can get the tune dialed in remotely and almost get it perfect.

Funny I had to get my tuned fixed from someone in California after going to Dasilvas & getting nothing but garbage. Truck has never ran better.

Go see Kevin at Champion or do a mail tune with someone who knows what they're doing like I did..

who tuned ur truck ? arun or dave ?
arun isn't tuning at DaSilva motorsports anymore dave went to school to learn to be a tuner and has tuned many c5s vettes and also my Camaro I haven't driven it with the new setup bc I just got the work done. I think some ppl should give dave at DaSilva motorsports a chance before they bash him

Ya I respectfully disagree as well , I yet have to see a good tune done remotely that way . How ever Dave has done remote tunes where he actually controls the computer on the other end using teamviewer and that is as close as you can get .

But thanks for your unbiased opinion , Oh and can you stop contacting my clients and telling them to go see another tuner because in your expert opinion you feel that the tune is isn't right .

I'm glad to see you have a new expert tuner at the shop and customers are getting what they pay for. I have no expert opinion on tuning at all, but one thing I do know is my tune was a disaster and my motor was pulling 6-7* of timing and knocking like crazy under wot. I just don't want to see anyone go through the tuning issues I did! Now Frank's SS is a whole other story... I'll keep my opinions to myself.

Ya Frank is a whole other story , and only his opinion of that story .
His loss .

I always work hard to make sure our clients are taken care of , what ever it takes ..............

I'm curious how you plan on doing 4th gear WOT runs to 7 grand on the street multiple times. Because you absolutely need open loop done.

I've 'self' tuned plenty, and worked with a very well known remote tuner back in my day and while you can get idle and mid-range done up to an extent there's no replacement for a dyno or indeed for assurances that whoever is editing your tables didn't just put a typo or extra digit in your fuel table whilst sipping coffee. Overall it's an extremely time consuming and daunting time. Not recommended.

I'm not disagreeing that dyno tuning a car/truck in person isn't better. But I've seen remote tuning done and some of the good tuners from the US can get the car/truck pretty close to perfect. But you are right it's very time consuming and can be a pain in the butt to do. I would also recommend getting a tune done in person unless you have no other choice but to do it remotely.
