I'm curious as to how many psi everyone has ran without the need for race gas or a water/meth kit while being on stock compression ratio (LS3/L99). Specifically I'm referring to turbocharged applications, but supercharger guys can chime in as well.
Please state what spark plugs you were using, turbocharged or supercharged (size of turbo or displacement of blower), fuel octane (preferrably the one's that have ran 93 as that's what goes in my tank), and the amount of boost you were tuned for. Dyno numbers would be beneficial as well. Thanks in advance. Last edited by JakeW1990; 01-23-2016 at 11:28 AM. |

Boost doesn't matter.
Put a cam that bleeds off all sorts of dynamic compression and you can run 20psi on pump. Or restrict the heads down. A good set of heads, and cam with SAME power adder and gas may take 5psi and make 800rwhp while just changing a few things, without touching power adder takes 15+psi.
