It seems like you would be putting yourself in a vulnerable position down in the floorboard locking and unlocking this. I think it would be easy for a car jacker/thief to roll up on you while messing with it.

We've had more than a couple of instances down here of people getting robbing in their driveways getting into their cars and that's without bending down to mess with pedals.

But like many have said before, if they want it, they'll get it.

Usually the room between the pedal and the floor area gets tighter. As you would slide the device up the arm the distance should decrease. Then again maybe its aluminum so you can just bend it Lol.
