When I had my 96 Z28 that I bought on my own at 18. I once had a homeless guy on a onramp tell me "must be nice to have daddy buy you things" I took the classy approach and replied "Its nice to have a job" . Now I would just ignore it.

I've heard it all its only a v-6 I've saved you the handicap spot at a car show midlife crisis you need to weld on two more cylinders.ect ect I always wanted one so after raising three sons I finally bought one Sure it's not the v8 wasn't willing to spend 40+ on it for the same look. I don't care what people think there just jealous. I enjoy my camaro and I'm glad gm brought them back!

was pulling into a car park last year and some old couple were loading their shopping into their car were both looking as i parked up..
the old lady came over to me and said may i say that is the most beautiful car i have ever seen...
was also driving in king street on a summers evening sitting behind a new bmw m5 in the traffic..a bunch of kids gave me the thumbs up said wow very nice car..they ignored the 100k bmw lol

i'm 51 with snow white hair...i dont give a fek tbh..all i know is most people saying negative things are only jealous..i know my neighbours are green with envy..ofc they have checked my reg number online and see the car is all paid for...some folk dislike sucsess here...
well instead of being jealous get up 4 am each day and work like a dog like i do and u may be able to afford one

I got a comment awhile back some guy in his late 40's I suppose with what looked like to be his wife/husband said to me in the parking lot, "it must be nice to have mommy and daddy buy you nice things to make you look cool".

I laughed and said, "no I worked hard I support myself and my wife. Paid my way through two college degrees and upon graduating I bought myself this present for a job well done and ya it does make me look cool, because I am educated and I manage my finances well". I then gave him the thumbs up sign. Literally, thumbs up like good job with your shit talking and walked away.

BTW I am 26.

He was obviously jealous because they got into a late 90's model Chevy 1500.

I had a guy I use to know in school try that on me once till I told him I worked on an assembly line building tractor trailers

Like it's impossible for someone who works for a living to afford a pony car
