Did you ever consider what they might have thought of you? This is like everyone going faster than you on the highway being a lunatic. But... if it makes you feel better, freedom of expression is one of the things that makes Murica great.

I don't know what they thought of me and don't care. I do know that I'm not a douchebag. I'm an asshole.

I get looks all the time as the car is loud and shiny red hot. People always come up to me at stores, red lights and so on and ask what kind of car is that ? It's a Camaro I answer. I think since it does not say Camaro and has the Commemorative badges it throws them off.

Last weekend at a car show I accidently parked by a group of 20 or so Mustangs owners from a local club. Not one of them would talk to me so I felt kind of UN wanted so I moved a few spaces down to be able to sit in my chair. As I was starting the car and moving all of them started laughing like they scared me off or something.

So at the end of the show they had to exit right in front of my car. I just sat there as one by one they pass my Camaro revving their engines as they pass, I wasn't skeered.......... Got a cool video of them intimidating me The lady at the dentist office called my Camaro a Mustang once. I told her It's a Camaro do I get a discount now ?

When I first got my SS in '09 had a guy at a gas station say, "It's ok, buts it's not like the old muscle cars." I said, "You got that right, this is what those muscle cars wanted to be."

If you're driving a Gen 5, then it was made in Canada, anyway. So, LOOPHOLE!! Otherwise, just call them Commie bastards!

Post the video.

Sounds like a bunch of yolo douchebags... I would have just stayed there with my feet kicked up.

Nothing is worse than guys who base their whole personality and relationships based on the make / model car they drive.

What would have turned him on? A Z28 or a ZL1? Not that I would say it to anybody, because I drive one, but I've heard the "Only a V6" quote, but they shot down your car because it was "Only an SS"?!?! Did you ask him which Camaro he drove?

The only thing I have ever had happen, is the drive-thru bank that I always go to I usually take my Camaro. One time I didn't and the girl said to me...Where's the Mustang?

Guess that means you don't own a Gen5 Camaro or haven't owned a Trans Am "back in the day". Or, are you a total d-bag?

I dont know if this counts, but yesterday as I turned onto my street a 90's era Mustang GT was coming the other way, as he got close to me he revved his engine twice to what sounded like the redline. I laughed and thought, "Wow what a moron, I wonder if he realized he risked blowing his engine revving at a V6 Camaro."

I got the mid life Crisis comment one time a couple years ago I just replied, "I really don't want to live to 120 but thank you for the compliment."
