I don't see companies would drop producing products for Gen 5 Camaros anywhere in the future, there will always be a demand for most of these aftermarket parts for some.
I've thought so much on my purchase in the first place, got a 15 but wanted a 16, but eventually will do some changes to mine. The 16 is NOT a refresh as some think, this is a total redesign with improvements all around, I'd love to still have a chance of owning a 16 but I may just stay with my 15 even after I eventually get it paid off

Thanks 1JEWLDSSRS and Hammdo! Really appreciate the applause.

As for my hood vent goes it's the 2014 extractor. My previous Camaro a RJT 2010 1LTRS I installed the Hex Vents but because I traded it and a club member bought it, I wanted to go a different direction with just about everything I did on this SS. Really like the OEM vent cause it makes it look like it came with the car which is always my goal, make it look OEM.
As for the fender vents, this is the second time I've done them as well. Very easy to do and all it takes is money to buy and time to do them. Probably one of the easier mods to do, so much so 2 other club members did it after I told them how easy it was and gave them my rust inhibitor to use on the cut edges. Too easy and the only thing you really need to do is cut slow as not to heat up the paint and slow going into the corners, and use a blade to finish the cut.

About half of my intended mods are already done. I'm in no rush right now. The only upgrade I'd worry about with regards to availability is factory Recaro's, and they're pricey enough that I may not bother with them anyhow.

Yes the motor is more power and the upgrades of magnetic ride along with some of the other bells and whistles are nice, but over all, I'm not willing to trade what I have with only 8880 on the odometer, all the stuff I've done, only be offered about $25K as a trade and start all over again. Life is short and every man/woman must know their limitations.
I can be perfectly happy where I am and with what I have. It's amazing, I go to the gas station and people always look in awe and say "That's a new one isn't it?" and it befuddles them when I say nope, it's 5, almost 6 years old.
At my age, I'm gonna have fun, doing what I do, with this right here.
Wow, that car is GORGEOUS!!
I sure as hell wouldn't even be considering trading her!!!!

Thank you! I really feel it'll be with me for a while. I've only put about 500 miles on it since the cam last April but I do plan to take it to Lingenfelter this year and do the Tail of The Dragon in October as well as some other trips and my laps around IMS.

I just did the FE4 conversion with ZL1 bars and radius inserts today. With it costing only three bills, I doubt the parts will go down much more. I'm sure sometime in the not too distant future GM will have a clearance sale and then prices will start going back up or parts will become unavailable.

I'm not convinced the aftermarket will go the same way. The engineering of the parts is done so it's just a matter of if it is worth it to keep it in inventory. However, some vendors are already moving on.

I got a pretty pricey long travel kit for my truck at about half price because the manufacturer quit making them and was clearing inventory. If I saw the same situation for something I wanted for my Camaro, I would jump on it.

I'm so in love with my 2011, I have absolutely no intentions on changing to a Gen 6.
