didn't you know what you were buying??? A sports car is a vette or porsche, or m6 or m3and to a lesser extent a 350z or g37...
You bought A Camaro!! its a 1/4 mi go straight and fast car.
Im fortunate enough that its a 3rd car for me, and not a daily driver but to bash a car because its not what you thought it should be is crazy.... IT'S EXACTLY WHAT IT SHOULD BE, AND I LOVE MINE!!

I don't think it's big at all. When i sit in the car i feel a little small actually. Who cares how it handles! i'm pretty sure most people who buy the Camaro is for the straight line go fast type stuff. I don't need "super good handling" for driving around town, i don't expect to drift around a corner because the light turned yellow.

I think the Z is a horrible(sorry maybe "horrible" is abit strong of a word)....is a car that i could care less for? I test drove the new one myself. I was very, very, very dissapointed....as i stated many times so far on this fourm.

I said this once and ill say it again...
If you like how the vette feels and you are dissapointed in how the Camaro feels because of that reason, then going with a 370z, let alone any tuner car, you will be more dissapointed. That's in my opinion atleast.

I think it handles great and I have the V6, love it!

It does sit higher than my 2000 Convertible Cam...which really is a plus...I don't feel like I'm climbing in and out like the old one.

It turns heads...was really taken back about that...didn't really expect all the attention it's gotten.

I wouldn't get rid of mine for nothing...they'll have to pry it outta my dead hands first!!

You consistently contradict yourself, and it has become apparant that you were never a real GM fan from the start. I even question your experience with a corvette.
The bottom line is, you're not happy with your camaro, and hey, that's alright...no foul. So why don't you cease lurking in a camaro forum and sell your car and move on over to a Nissan forum, and..."don't let the door hit-ya where the Good Lord split-ya," alrighty?
Peace out!
No contradiction at all I'm a lifelong conservative who loved GM till this car. I bought a GM when I predordered the car and wanted to show a little patriotism to GM but now why would I? And Corvette was always my favorite car growing up my family drives nothing but Chevy. My first car was suppossed to be a '03 Camaro SS, but it never came out because the first time GM dropped the ball on the Camaro was '02 and it ceased to exist by the time I purchased a car! Please I happen to be a well educated person in econmics and government. I had to much faith in GM like America and obvioulsy both proved me wrong.

Either way after some research my car may have a fuse issue which is causing the power problem. It's def broken in as it has almost 1200 miles on it. I'll try the fuse thing to tap into the ECM and see if that works. But, the handling is still an issue we'll see. It would be nice if the Camaro had a track pack! I know GM is designing one it's just with 7 years to think about this car they had plenty of time to get it all right! I'll leave this thread and forum I really could care less what half of you think I came here for the open minded person who can accept and value someone elses opinion and for those who haven't got a Camaro yet to warn them!

"No contradiction at all I'm a lifelong conservative who loved GM till this car."

What the hell does that mean? Your wording makes it sound like this car ruined your opinion of GM. This car can't single handedly save GM but it's a step in the right direction, I will say it again they got it right, no car is perfect.

As for the fuse pull that's for automatics it won't increase power for the ls3, some people said it helped choppy idle some people said didn't change a thing. Sell your camaro buy your 370z, leave our wonderful gm/chevy family and join the imports.

370Z= 'Tooner car.

That said, the Camaro isn't for everyone. Or, to put it better, everyone isn't for the Camaro. That's why some are happy with rice, despite the inadequacies. It suits them.

Right, but this guy confuses me when he said that he wants to get rid of the Camaro because compaired to the vette, it dissapointed him....so then he goes on to talk about getting a 370Z...what?

I rest my case, neighbor. I too am an educated man, and regardless of your expertise in either economics and/or government, this isn't an issue about GM's reputation or poor decisions in the past. I too am one who has little sympathy for GM's "dropped balls" in the last few decades, as well as for the American auto industry being essentially ruined by overzealous unions...but I digress. This is an issue that pertains to a single car model, and you've become quite transparent in your posts. It's obvious by how you divert, deflect, and dance around the subject matter that you're no fan of the camaro, and really have no business being on this forum. If your desire is to discourage people in the market from investing in this fine piece of American muscle, then by all means "critisize away," but I suggest you do it somewhere that is neutral, like in a blog...somewhere that you can't cry "fan-boy" when people try to have an objective debate with you. It's obvious that your objective is to agitate people on this forum that desire only to have fun discussing their news cars...so, I say again...Olah!
