Kamikaze Miyabi coating

I guess the kids set a box on my hood, of course when they picked it up they drug it a bit marring the finish. I should have taken a pic, but set out to correct it as soon as I saw it and did not. I poilshed off the coating with Blackfire SRC finishing polish.

Then coated it with my favorite coating. Very easy to use. These pics are minutes after coating and will look even better tomorrow.

You going for the coating? Its real easy to use. If your paint is in decent shape I would just polish it and do the coating. The Camaro paint responds very well to Menzerna FG400 to remove any major swirls, and then a finishing polish. If the swirls are light a finishing polish works well by itself. I will try the artificial clear on the kids sacrificial car before I can say I would try it on my car. Car pro essence is a similar product that I will do a side by side against the artificial clear.

Im really impressed with the Kamikaze coatings, really easy to use with great results.

Yes I'm going to order it and apply it to my new jeep. My Camaro is in storage for the winter but will strip it and apply it in spring. I'm anxious to hear how the artificial clear works out for you. If it's promising I would use it on my black jeep then the miyabi coat. The overcoat product looks great too. It says it will fill swirls and add a layer of protection to maintain the miyabi coat. The suite of products aren't cheap but I'm not afraid to pay when it saves time and lasts.

I can give feedback on the overcoat. It is designed as a topper for coatings but can be used over anything. It is expensive but you hardly need any product. A small bottle will take care of 8 to 10 cars. I have used it on different brands of coatings and it works equally well on all of them. Its hydrophobic qualities are fantastic. I should have a chance to use the artificial clear in the next couple of weeks. I will let you knkw how it works.

Here are some updated pictures from today. These are Kamikaze Miyabi coat, topped with Kamikaze Infinity hybrid glass coat/carnuba wax. The paint will then be cared for with Gyeon Bathe+, which contains coating elements. This wash soap is fantastic and can be used with any lsp, and acts like a fresh sealant, or coating. Very hydrophobic. The coating will also get Kamikaze overcoat as the sacfificial layer topped up every few months. Next weekend ..... recoat those damn wheels.

The kids BMW is in the shop, so I have not had the chance to use the Kamikaze artificial clear coat as of yet.

looks great. Do you have to use that soap or will any quality soap work with it?

Any soap that is wax, or polymer free will work. The Bathe + contains elements to keep the coating topped off. I just used it this weekend and will not use anything else. Its a great product.

Check out this video of the Kamikaze Artificial Clear Coat. If it works as well as it does in this video, it will be a game changer!

Agreed. If it works as well as it appears to, the days of buffing light swirls are gone. My buddy has a truck that looks nice but is swirled worse than anything I've ever seen. When the weather breaks I'm going to try this on it and see how it works.
