Oil contamination will lead to detonation, carbon build up on the back of the valves and tops of the pistons. Ted.

So ted, that'll help me with the oil leaking from the rear main seal?

Catch can on SLP tvs2300

If you are already getting oil shooting out of the rear main seal its too late. It is highly unlikely that it will fix itself. I've had the Elite CC for a year or so. I've been trying to get the elite breather but haven't had any luck finding a black one in stock anywhere. If you need a clutch, that would be a good time to fix the rear main seal issue. LS3 with Maggie, cam and all supporting mods. I have the stock valve covers with an Elite catch can mounted on the dirty side. The car is not a daily driver but about every third "around town" trip the catch can fills up with oil. Is this normal for a blower motor or is this a PCV issue. If it's a PCV issue can I run an in-line PCV along with the stock PCV or will this not help?
The CC inlet on top of the can is attached to the factory PCV on the back of the drivers side valve cover and the outlet on the side of the can goes to the side of the blower as seen in the pic. A little advice please |

You should only see a few ounces in 3000 miles. Have a proper leak down test performed to check ring seal. Ted.

You would have to contact Elite. When I got my can this is where the bracket mounted. My buddies is the same. As far as I know that's the stock bracket. Maybe others just choose to mount them differenly. I just followed the instructions.
