Fog Light Install ?

So i have my wiring harness w/relays, the fog lights and the bezels for my 2011 Camaro 2LS and i got qouted like $276 at my local dealership for install which amounts to 3+ hours of work to me this seems like i'm getting ripped off or the technician that was asked by the service manager was not very bright. I may be wrong but with all the parts it doesn't seem like it should take that long.

Someone told me the LS models don't have a wiring harness for fog lights i may have been misinformed but either way not a big deal.

I'm lead to understand that even if you buy the wiring harness for the LS, you won't get it to work because of the programming in the BCM. I could be wrong but I believe those are the problems a few members have run into.

Either way, I think you should do the install yourself. It's easy to do. Just figure out how you want them wired and we can help tell you how to go about it.

Install the switch, 2 minutes, install the replacement front harness- remove bumper, remove harness and replace with new harness with foglight pigtails, 45 minutes. Have the dealer call for a new VCI number, the 2010 and 2011 do have the option of turning on the foglights and there is a charge for that. The 2012 is still on the fence, I do not know why, I got mine done, but I know people.....

Bringing this back to life. -- Fog Lights are an easy installation. I bought these

http://www.automotivelightstore.com/lsfogpackage.aspx (Came with T-Taps *Was very un secure connection, and when I would hit certain bumps the lights would flicker etc.

So what I did, was then bought this

http://www.gen5diy.com/PnP_harnesses...glamp-harness/ .
Ran it through the firewall, and drilled into my car just to the left of the Headlight Control. Now I have a Blue LED button that when I press I can MANUALLY turn on my Fog Lights now. Not let them DRL. (:

If you need more help, let me know. I'll take some pictures and try to detail them as far as instructions go. PM me for email (pictures) or we can PM chat through here.
