I asked the dealer if they see a lot of the 1le packages come through, they said what's a 1Le? They continued to say it's a regular SS that the previous owner put in aftermarket body kit etc... I just kept my mouth shut and proceeded with the deal... Lol. Gotta love Buick/GMC dealerships...

Good! Funny how some dealerships don't have a clue. I went to my local gm dealer just to see the 16 in person. I have replica zl1/1le wheels and that's it besides retro SS badges. Pulled up and they said nice 1le.

OMG. Did you see this one? It's not even broken in yet... I think it was waiting for you.

IMHO the best combination you could possibly get is a 2013. You get the suspension upgrade that came out in 2012 and you still keep the better looking back end and tail lights.
Even better would be a 1LE which came out in '13...

Went and drove one today. 2SS/RS. Loved almost everything. Not sure how I felt bout the 2-tone leather interior. Heading out of the country tomorrow for a week so we'll see if it's still around when I get back. Thanks again everyone for the advice. Would love to see a 1LE come up for sale near me!

Oh MAN!!! You didn't get it?

The two-tone interior was the best part. I can't believe you blew it to this level! I had a little more faith that it was the right car for you.

Ok, just kidding. A week? If it's still there, it was over priced.

Good luck and have fun on your trip.

Haha. They've had it there for about a month. It'll be nice to have a week to think more about it as well. I didn't want to buy it today just because I only had today to do it.

Thanks for all the advice again!

Is there any way somebody could look up a VIN number for me to let me know if a certain car is a 1LE? Please PM if you can help me out.

You can probably just tell by the wheels, hood wrap, front splitter and if it is a manual. And black rear spoiler. Or has all of that been changed out?
