Underdrive pulley with a sub?

I really want to get an underdrive pulley, especially now that I've been installing my cam setup. Only thing that worries me is that I have a subwoofer and it would cause issues.

I know a 25% would not work for me, but what about ATI's 10%?

I really was considering that one. Also how does that one get removed/installed? Uses the bolt type puller instead of the 3 claw in the stock setup?

LOL the reason many want to underdrive is to free up what little HP they think they can gain. Being cammed my car is at 950 idle way up from stock and that's how I can get away with a 25% underdrive for the electrical: not the AC and its a fluidampr eliminating the harmful vibrations to my engine from it being radical cammed.

I have seen over the years on here guys have trouble with cheaper balancers, some that are like stock with the rubber breaking apart..... SLP or such I think, and anyway I avoided that, and I know Fluidamprs the best with viscous silicone fluid inside and not a stupid almost factory with a rubber isolation ring between the this and that, and have seen factory ones fall apart on here too......And our engine s are internally balanced so the stock one is just like a non harmonic balancer , its just a cheapo balancer support for a pulley , and vibration elimination is not what its for really compared to old school Harmonic balancers as it does not have the mass..... And the balancer is important for things and many ignore it......

The thing is it does come back to haunt you down the road like not breaking in the cam if you got a cam that's not hardened enough with out help from a proper break in like the springs need also. Vibrations harm the timing chain, also bearings...... and That takes time to hurt .... I also have a 13 and do not have the power steering pump to deal with also. And just so you know yes a new balancer bolt of course is required. And many people just use the stock balancer ..the majority of cammed people because it is internally balanced, its just that I know their idea of balancing is wider than a lot of machinists like and I agree. And a cammed motor will rock a lot more and be harder to keep harmful vibrations down in the crank/cam....

SO think again..... your idle will be up..... But the real purpose is to protect your engine to spend the money.

Okay, i understand a better pulley ould be safer than the factory dampener but that completely skipping my question...

Ati makes a replacement without an underdrive. Im trying to see if running a underdrive would be safe with the subwoofer pullingpower constantly..

Like i said a 25% defenitylly id run into issues but would just doing 10% still have that problem?

Someone please lmk asap since about to finish my cam swap and want to order it..

You could just turn up your idle. In fact with a cam install, you most likely will be turning it up anyway.

thx for the simple reply to the actual question asked. but I had already jumped the gun and went with ati 10% before I got on here to check and see what you said lol

and to respond to my original question for anyone also wants confirmation of this; yes, the the underdrive should work fine with a subwoofer in the car. my readings are constant and no visible movement on the gauges needle. only when its driven super hard with a song that was mixed with heavy low end will i see the faintest movement.

Where did you purchase it from? What part number? I've been looking for one to install during a cam swap.

If you're cam puts you at around 850 rpm then a 25% will put you're alt around the stock speed. I just installed a stock size pully on my Fluidamper as my cam only needs 650 rpm. At 650 with the 25% my dome lights would dim at idle. Had to up the rpm to 800.
