One weird thing mine does (its a 2SS with 6 speed manual) when coasting in neural with the clutch out if you give it gas it either does not respond or the RPMs just raise a little. Push the clutch back in and it will respond normal. What is the purpose of that?
Thanks
Reporting back, my car revs the same when coasting or when the clutch is engaged.

My first and only car was a 1970 Camaro. I have owned all trucks after that and I am loving driving this. It has the dual note exhaust as well.
If you have the dual mode exhaust (4 exhaust tips), do a fuse pull or get an exhaust controller. Fuse pull is easiest and no cost. If you like that, then leave it and the exhaust will be in loud mode all the time. If you want to switch back and forth between loud and soft, get an exhaust controller.

There are few exhaust controllers available ... the Forza Controller is the best and cost the least.

Regards,

Steve

Yes you have the NPP code dual mode exhaust and you can get a controller from Forza to be able to switch it off and on. You say your having a issue with delayed response from the car while in neutral with the clutch in giving it gas and that is weird as I would think the sensors could be off, the TPS or something..... I would look over the connections to the accelerator pedal. And maybe it is wanting to stay in the same rev band to shift, and maybe like many you naturally let off when going to shift to try to rev match. I know I don't step on it harder when going shift in that split second.....LOL

Anyway congrats on the new ride!, is it used and maybe had a throttle controller installed on it?

It was used but only owned for 5 months and traded back in to the dealer. The guy did not like shifting. It only had 4500 miles on it. He took a big hit. Nothing I can tell was changed. It only does it with the clutch out and coasting down. Not really a big deal just noticed it. Push the clutch back in and it responds normal.

Camaro5 is great. But it is true that your wallet will never be the same.

I started with a stock 1lt and before i knew it i had the brakes upgraded, exhaust, intake, throttle body, tires, various electronics. I thought my wallet couldn't stretch any further then it eventually broke and i found this zl1 in my driveway. Lmao
