Maryland Speed in the Slow Lane
First off, Speed should not be used in their company name.
My first order with them, a simple set of Kooks headers with off-road mid pipes coated with Airborn Coatings. Seems simple right, well order them 6 weeks ago and still have not received them. Tried contacting them again today for an update, but no reply as of yet. At this point they are holding up my entire build!! Do business with them at your own risk and make sure you have plenty of time to wait !!! |

I've never had a problem ordering from them. Actually, they said it would take a week to get my exhaust and it only took 3 days. I'm sure they will make it right...

It's a coated header that is running about a week over the 3-5 we quote. I am sorry for that..but unfortunately anything coated is not time definite. A lot of people here and bought from us..when I go to a Camaro show and walk the isles, it is like reading a MarylandSpeed customer list.

I once ordered a catback system for my SS from Maryland speed and received it in a very timely fashion. I would order from them again.

I had a similar problem. Turns out it was kooks that was holding up the process. Be patient with them. They will pull through quicker than you think

I had no problems with them, they made it clear when headers are being coated it's sent to a secondary vendor. They also always answered my call or emails in a reasonable time. I suggest you ask questions upfront so you have realistic expectations.

+1 for Maryland speed. Just to clear things up, I don't think anyone here is trying to go against you. I'm sure your experience with them wasn't a good one, otherwise you wouldn't have taken the time out to make this thread.
That being said, like someone above me mentioned... when I got my Kooks LT headers, I had them powder coated and it took some extra time for me to get my headers. I think it was around 4-5 weeks total... so I can understand your frustration. Here's to hoping they can settle things with you privately, they're a good company in all seriousness. |

I found them to be highly experienced in technical data and expertise. There advice was spot on. My order was delivered as promised. I would not hesitate to do business with them again. That brandon guy is a little off tho.....

The customer should have his product by now. What is the old engineering adage? You can have it fast, cheap, or done right. Pick two of the 3. That is what applies here. We normally have it done right, but it is either gonna be fast or cheap..you have to pick.

Another happy Maryland Speed customer here. Bought my supercharger, exhaust and a bunch of suspension stuff from them. My go-to vendor.
