Sucks man, Im way bigger than you and taller.. I drive the Camaro with no issue, every day, daily driver.

Not sure what it is but not much you can do but take a loss and trade your car, no pain is worth it.

You mentioned sitting in the car is OK but operating the pedals causes it. It sounds like you are holding your legs in position instead of adjusting the car so you can operate the pedals by just moving your feet and letting your legs continue to be supported by the seat.

I concur with the others. If sitting does not cause you pain but driving does when using your leg consider adjusting the way you apply pressure to the pedals. lift the seat up or down as needed to change angles.

I have to imagine there is something you are doing as the default ergonomics dont seem to bother you when just sitting in the car. But I can appreciate your frustration and can understand if you decide to swap it out if the pain keeps persisting. Hope it works out or I hope a medical professional can offer some insights.

Yup, I had it in my right leg as well. When I bent my leg at the knee, no pain. When I straightened it out...pain.

So I drove home tonight, I tend to like having the seat all the way back, and stretching out a bit. I put the back up closer to my back, where the headrest was only maybe an inch from my head, it went much better, but now most of the pain went to my back glute/hip and inner thigh. One night it was all above my knee.

For the life of me I can't figure this out. Lol.

Maybe a chiropractor or doctor can fix me? This car would seriously be awesome if I can drive it pain free.

Get a good massage or Google "Siatica Stretches" and do a few. They work wonders.

I don't want to hear any more of your whining until you've at least tried a few of the suggestions here. Camaro owners are a lot of things, but they are not whiners. Maybe the Camaro life is not for you.

Look at it like this, you have this issue. The camaro itself isn't causing the actual injury, there's something wrong with your leg/back, if anything, you should thank your camaro for helping you realize there was something wrong

For what it's worth, when I bought my Camaro I began to experience back pain, and occasional thigh pain, anytime I drove it more than a few miles. My girlfriend experienced the same thing. We tried lumbar supports, but they were cumbersome and didn't do much good, so they got sidelined.

Then a strange thing happened; about 3 months after buying the car, the pain slowly began to disappear, for both of us. Now it's completely gone (knock on wood) and I find the car to be extremely comfortable, even for extended road trips. The only thing I can imagine is that we both needed time to acclimate to the Camaro's driving position.

The Seat & Seat Position can cause this! As I stated earlier, I had a S2000 (actually two) that did this exact thing. As soon as I got rid of them, the problem went away!
