Sirius/XM TraveLink Issue
I just purchased a previously owned 2014 ZL-1. Everything is awesome except for an issue with my TraveLink. The weather and theater apps work just fine but the fuel app does not. I am getting a message that there are no fuel stations within the reception area of my car. I took it in to my local Chevy dealer for service. I was informed this is a wide spread issue apparently with 2014 Camaros. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? The service dept. rep told me Chevy and Sirius/XM are both working on it to find a fix. But Chevy insists it is not on their end and Sirius/XM likewise says the same thing. Not a huge deal, except you like to get what you are paying for.

I no longer have the subscription but it worked fine in the trial period which ended Sep 15. I used it for an entire year and moved from NV to AL and it worked great. I have a 2014 2SS so assume no difference with the MyLink, correct? You have confirmed that both weather and traffic are activated on your XM subscription? Have they transferred the subscription over and reset the unit?

Wait a minute. I don't have XM and My Fuel app works fine? The weather and other XM things don't but the fuel does?
What about if you let it run low? Will it bring up closest gas stations then? |

I don't know what you mean by letting it run low. But it doesn't give you the option of choosing the local area. It just doesn't respond to anything. The weather and movie apps work just fine. The fuel app says it is not detecting any gas stations in the area. I have navigation and when I pull up gas stations, I get over 100 area stations listed. Of course, this does not show prices.

Interesting because you have to have XM for this to work. It's their Travel Link subscription. Maybe you're in a free trial period. They offer that automatically every now and then.

They did a reset on my Mylink last week and now the navigation isn't functioning correctly. On turns, the screen is supposed to switch automatically from the radio screen to the map screen then switch back again after completing the turn. It was doing this prior to the update but now does not. My car is back in today to see if they can reverse it.

But does it give you fuel prices? I tried the app today and it said I must have a XM subscription. However I never noticed a list of gas stations popping up when my fuel low light came on. Are you in an active nav guidance mode?

This must be something separate. I tried the app today and it does not work. |

No. That does work. But the screen is supposed to change from full screen radio to full screen map when making a route change (turn, etc.), then back again once the route change is complete. I'm on my 4th Camaro w/Mylink nav and all of them worked like that including my current car before they reprogrammed the Mylink.
