I sold my 86 Camaro when I turned 30 and my kids were born. At the time I told my wife that I will buy another Camaro and when I do it won't be a crisis. Now I turned 40 and bought my vert that I dreamt about. It is all about the expectation and the perspective.
At the end of the day though you can can call me crazy, or mid life whatever because don't care because I have my dream car.

This is why I made sure to choose a second wife who was a Camaro fan.....BAM!!! I'm 52 and drive whatever car or bike I like. If people think k it's a midlife crisis the f*# em! Be happy, have fun and drive whatever you want

No, but moving a thousand miles away from your birthplace to a state with shitty weather, taking a job where you work 10 times as hard for less pay, and buying your first motorcycle in your 40's might be.
Hard to believe it's been over a decade since then. The weather still sucks.
