When I rinse I spray along them and wash them out. You may have to pull out on the splash guard slightly.

I had this issue and it warped the splash guards something fierce so I bought a new set and used clear silicone behind it to seal it so no rocks could get up in there.

Cool,I think that I will replace them all around and try to seal it up.. Gotta bedone well though, once rocks gain entrance to the top area it just acts like a funnel..

That's a good idea, I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one having this problem.

Nope. I hated it and it stated warping the splash guards I had almost immediately so I knew I had to do something.

I had this issue on the aftermarket fronts I bought. When I installed them I used auto parts store 3M tape that held up for about 3 months. Apparently the 7 billion part numbers of 3M tape are not created equally. Someone on a rock guard thread said the correct tape to use is 3M #6384. I reinstalled with that 2 years ago and still no fail.

I had this problem also, I had to unbolt them to let the sand/pebbles out. when I put them back on I am going to seal them up like you guys did.

I did the silicone thing too, hoping to never have to do it again...

This is SO annoying. Even worse is that I get a couple pebbles on my trunk lid from time to time in my parking lot at work just from making slow turns into a stall. Who would think that a paved parking lot would have tiny pebbles everywhere and that they'd end up on my trunk
