MyLink conversion - lock/unlock switch placement

For those of you that have done the MyLink upgrade on a 2010/11 and installed the new door lock switch: Where did you put your new switch? I've ordered my kit from Gen5DIY, but this one piece of the puzzle is something I'm still a bit confused on.

Thanks!
Steve

I got the door pull off a 2013 and put them in the arm rest where they belong.

I need to see a 2013+ door for a vert, since the other switches in the door are different between coupe and vert. If I can find a 2013+ vert door panel with the right switches and everything fits, that would for sure be a better approach. I've already called all the local salvage yards and no one has one, and I've come up blank on Ebay. Meanwhile, I've got the switch kit coming with the MyLink stuff from Jarod.

Related question: can the switches plate insert in the door panel be replaced? If so, with the switches plate insert from a 2013+ convertible driver's door fit in a 2011 vert door panel? Or will I need to replace the entire panel?

OK, that's good, thanks. Off to the dealer tomorrow to see if I can order one. I checked the online GMParts site but, while the exploded picture of the panel shows the switchplate as a specific item, it doesn't have the GM part number or price so it's not apparently not something they carry.

I found an entire panel on EBay but it's for a 1LT without the BA logo on the grille, and I don't really want to pay $200+ for a $15 item...
