a big 3.5 180 would be perfect because then i can cut it exactly how i need. But the only place that I have found that has one...is out of stock for 3 weeks.
What size is your cai side?

Well a very good source told me the Wills tunes are second to none once you get his attention. Does a very good job so I'm excited to give it a shot

Damn. I always learn the hard way. Ipf sounded like a great tune as well. I bought a tune for mine and the wife's Cruze. No luck on either. I just got back from dealer with Cruze and all GM computer software was up to date so I know it's not that. I hope.

That's exactly where mines at and I'm only like 80 miles from San Fran.

IPF is a good tune so don't worry I'm sure they will take care of you. I just learned recently from another member who's pushing a lot of horsepower with his Lfx that Will is the best in his opinion and many others, just busy so we have to be patient there as well

Non-reinforced, bad idea.

Since the first place I recommended was out of stock... try this place?
https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr...sp?RecID=11895

Says they have one in 3 different colors in stock. Hopefully the CLR and legs will jive and be close enough to work.

Yeah I've been waiting for someone to realize that without reinforcement it's gonna suck closed upon acceleration.

Unless you have a plastic bag over the intake filter it is not going to collapse. Reinforcement is for boosted applications, your intake tube in NA will always be near atmospheric pressure.

These engines do not suck in that much air.

I know that you know your stuff, but my vacuum and CFM numbers are telling me a different story.

Unless you have a vacuum gauge in the intake tube before the throttle body it won't tell you what is going on between the filter and throttle body. At WOT the intake manifold should be at 0 unless there is a restriction at the throttle body. At idle there is going to be a high vacuum inside the manifold but the intake pipes will still be around atmospheric pressure.

When ETMX ran the fastest bolt-on time of 13.4, he was flowing 33 lb/min through his MAF with his MAP sensor reading 0.99 BAR, just 1% vacuum draw. The LFX can not suck enough air, that is why nitrous and forced induction makes such a huge difference in these cars.
