REDLINE FLUIDS DA BOMBBBBB !

So I went ahead and did the fluids change on the differential and the transmission. The car just has 50k km on it. I used Redline D4ATF just about 4qtz and 1qt Redline 75W90 GL-5 Gear Oil . It is Synthetic oil which already have the friction modifiers. GM also uses Synthetic fluids now. I confirmed with Redline. Infact its Exceeds API GL-5 specifications!

I live in Canada and YES I drive my car in the snow...I have posted a vid too. The weather has been a shitty lately but the passion got better of me. I jacked up the car , took the transfer pump out and pumped the fluids in the transmission and differential. I was laying in snow on my back in -10 weather doing it ! hahahaha I am crazy I know but the Bourbon kept me warm. Over all I am very Happy with the results!

The GOOD:
I felt like it was a different car/transmission altogether ! the shifts were clean and crisps. No SECOND GEAR GRINDS ANYMORE!!!!! I love my car all over again. The car feels free like its screaming at me to pump it ! Love the feel of the shift changes. Slow/fast gear shifts , its a drastic change in a good way.

The BAD:
Unlike other products the configuration of the bottles are weird. Majority of the pumps didn't fit. I had to find ways to accommodate the transfer. I ended up using both the funnel method and the transfer pump from Princess Auto. I would really like Redline to change the design of the bottle so it is narrow/thin with nozzle on the cap. It is very hard to find the products in Canada , only a 3 retailers in OTTAWA carry it. Maybe the dealers date base can be updated. Yes, I know we can order it through Amazon. But that's besides the point.

Matt8892 I hope that cures the buzzing. You wont be disappointed I can assure you. Its maybe a 20 mins job. Jack it up undo the fill first , then undo the drain and viceversa. There is a plug right next to the fill plug , use caution. Do not break it .

I'm just gunna pay my mechanic 15 bucks to swap it out for me. 15 bucks is worth saving dragging the jack and stands and tools out. Then we're gunna take it for a spin and see about this buzzing.

Yea. I think it may be my hurst. Probably gunna just order an MGW later this week and do the whole shifter thing right.

Just hope it isn't any internal issues with my Trans

Depends it could be your bushings. That's an easy fix!

Ehh. I thought about it. But the whole shifter has to come out anyways. And the mgw is far superior. I shoukd have just gotten that one to start

That's a good idea too. The new shifter, does it come with durable bushing?
