Glad you are happy with the products/work! Thanks for your business.

The text I highlighted in red... I've heard that several times from people I've sent the setup to. It really does feel like a different car IMO.

Some people want to keep their stock intake, which is understandable. Some people just don't want to wait when I am out of cores for an intake swap.

The cheapest place to date that I have found a new LFX intake manifold is on Amazon, they are like $195. Which is why I have a $200 core charge (Used to be $250 when I had to buy the intakes from the dealer). So when you buy an intake outright, I really don't make anything on the intake manifold itself by selling it to you. I have no problem buying a new intake and selling it to people without a core swap, in fact I prefer it I can actually do that because core swaps/charges are just a pain in the ass for me. I currently offer the core swap as a convenience to the customer, but I hate doing it.

Just FYI, I have 11 core intakes in circulation... When they're all here, they take up a ton of room. And obviously I had to put out quite a bit of $$ for them. But when they're all gone, they're all gone and it's just hurry up and wait for them to come back.

Back to the subject though... 80mm TB's...

It really does. Smoother and much more punch. Can't wait to install the tune!

I had to get my own silicone intake adapter, but it depends on which intake you have on for what size you'll need. The 80 mm tb has a 3.5" clamping size and then whatever your intake is and which angle you'll want. There are a few people on this thread that are installing the whole setup and more. If I were you I'd see how the installation goes for them before investing much into this. I've got stuff in the mail now and I'm finding some are saying the 80mm only works well with forced induction. I will find out on my own dime now.

I'm working on something now.

Trying out a 180, a 135 and a 90 to see what can be trimmed to fit properly for best fit

The oem MAF sensor will do fine unless the air volume exceeds its limitations. We won't know that until we get one installed and start testing. Once we start seeing voltage readings and dyno numbers, we'll know where we stand. Even if we find that the oem sensor can't handle the volume, the aftermarket sensor option won't likely be setup for a higher volume either, so....yeah.

No issues with the sensor itself, a larger housing helps flow more air (the sensor is an insert sensor). The CAI Inc system has a larger pipe for the MAF to insert versus some other intake systems on the market

The sensor can handle buttload of air. No need to worry about it at all.

A larger MAF housing will require a tune, or if you already have a tune it will need to be adjusted though for those that have asked already. The MAF sensor reading table(s) need to be re-scaled. And if you do go down that road, I doubt IPF will want to change it for you, you'll need someone like Will @ Overkill, or have to get a custom tune somewhere. None of that canned tune BS.

Glad that I already have Will onboard. Should I need to change anything.
