Centri blower + gears + stall

I was wondering if anyone could give me some I put on a f1-a Procharger and let's say 3.70 gears with a 3600 multi disk stall? I've heard that centri's like gear just wanting to get some info on a new set up

I have the Novi1500, 3.89 gears and a 3600 stall. I haven't been to the track yet, but I am sure this setup is a compromise. For best track times, it probably would want even more gear and converter (just based on the dyno graphs).

Centri's love high stalls, keeps the RPM'S and boost up. Even though I have a baby V6, my Circle D stalls it to 5200 and never falls below 10 PSI (16 @ redline).

Dyno Graph

This is the graph without the restrictor in place and also when the car was still a stick shift. The ultimate power doesn't matter though...its the shape of the curve. Looking at this, optimal would be something that stalls around 4500RPM (near the torque plateau) and I'd want to shift at around 7100RPM since it peaks at 6800rpm.

Limits the max boost. With the restrictor, I hit 12psi and without it I will top out at 16psi.

Wish I could hit 16lbs with the F1A on my 427 all the calculators have shown me between 12-13lbs

A 427 sounds like a lot of engine to feed with an F1A. But...boost is just a number. Does it make good power and carry the curve for a long RPM band?

No clue still can't afford injectors and a clutch yet after buying heads, ERL shortblock, E-85 conversion and squash dual setup and F1-A tuner kit..... hoping to break 800rwhp and expecting 12-13 lbs on the low compression (9.5:1) motor.

Figure I will drive it for a season or two then swap out the head unit to a F1X and aim for around 18lbs after I sure up the driveline.

I don't know how the flow curves look when comparing the F1A to an F1X. It may be that the F1A hits harder down low and you may like that more. I debated switching to a YSI with mine, but limiting the boos to hold it under 850RWHP. Matt at FSP said I would lose torque down low and I would regret the decision. If you are going all out...bigger is always better! LOL
